The Unstoppable Profits Mission, Vision And Core Values

Unstoppable Profits Mission And Vision

From failures to successes, my approaches to business have changed over the years.

From a one-man business to building a “real” business requires a whole different approach.

I started on eBay selling unwanted goods, and that didn’t require much strategy. Then I went on to freelance designing, affiliate marketing and now creating my own training courses and teaching others.

I never saw this online business as a traditional business where you have executives, managers and staff. All I wanted was to make money online. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but that was the beauty of it.

I used to think that I had to do everything myself which only overwhelmed me with more work than I could handle and wearing all the hats in the company. Yeap, I did everything — designing, developing, producing, writing, customer support and technical support, which I think is quite normal when you first start out, especially if you’re on a shoe-string budget.

I’ve learned and have spoken to a lot of successful entrepreneurs and startups in the past and they had one very distinct thing in common — they all had a great team surrounding them. This not only means employing great talent but also supporters and people who believe in your cause or business.

I’m now at a stage where the only way I see to grow and scale my business is to build an amazing team.

I put together a mission and vision statement as well as core values to educate not only our staff but also our customers on what our company is all about and to clarify the persona/identity of the company.

I’ve never done it before (as you might remember I was thinking small) but it’s time that I did set it to help direct the company in the right direction.

This is my first shot at putting the mission and vision statements together and may slightly be tweaked in the future but here it is:

Our Mission

The mission of Unstoppable Profits is to inspire and teach others who want to break free from the 9-5 cycle and choose a life of freedom by making passive income online using today’s technology. We do this by sharing our experiences and experiments of running an online business ourselves and being as transparent as possible so that others can model our footsteps. We employ based on dedication, not just skill and maintain a fun, friendly and creative work environment which respects diversity, new ideas and hard work.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be the most trust-worthy go-to source for people wanting the freedom to work when, where and how they want by creating passive income online. We aim for a customer-centric approach by proactively learning what customers want and creating content, products and/or services to help in their problematic areas.

Our Core Values

In addition to our mission and vision statements, I believe our core values is just as important. It helps in the decision-making process for the company so that anything that does not meet our core values, we don’t do.

  1. To always listen and understand our customers’ needs and wants and focusing on providing solutions to their problems

  2. Motivate and inspire but stay modest and humble

  3. Focus on giving value at all times

  4. Act with honesty and integrity

  5. Persuade by demonstrating, not by hype

  6. Remain passionate and determined

Moving Forward

Although I do outsource things like design and content now on a per-job basis, I’m looking to hire staff permanently. This includes admins and hopefully developers at a future stage.

My priority now is to delegate and outsource the work that I’m currently handling so that I can work on things like creating content for this blog (which I love), rather than putting out fires.

I hope this post has made you think bigger in terms of where you see your business in 5, even 10 years time.

And if you haven’t already, why not create your own mission and vision statements, too.

  1. Spoken like a man that has been through the trenches, figured a way out and now wants to teach others the way he wishes he was taught; with honesty and integrity opposed to false promises and hype. Your core values and mission reads true Aurelius, I think anyone reading them would also thin the same.

Thanks for posting and encouraging others to create their mission statement and core values.

    1. Hey Pete. Yes, I’m more passionate than ever πŸ™‚

The Nomads community looks cool. I wish there was something like that here. Will definitely go if I ever head to Thailand!

      1. The Digital Nomad community is growing more connected everyday Aurelius. We all meet and run our online businesses from the few co-working spaces situated around the city.

There is even an eBook guide about the worldwide Digital Nomad movement by Simon Fielding

But yes, it would be GREAT if Sydney had something like that – but the high-cost of living makes it unsustainable.

If any of your readers are interested, there is an Internet marketing / online income conference here in Chiang Mai Thailand next month – why not come and check us out

  2. I like the core values and love #4 the best because it’s too much nonsense flowing on the web. You want to attract people that appreciate integrity not hype as those customers will become a thorn in the rear. I like the idea as I feel it helps differentiates you from the majority of internet marketers which is great in a crowded space.
