My Monthly Growth Report – June 2014

Monthly Growth Report

Welcome to the first ever issue of this growth report I’ll be sharing with you every single month!

What Is This Report?

As the title suggest, it’s a monthly growth report for my business. I will be reporting my website stats, lessons and what I’ve been up to in life and business without ranting too much!

I thought long and hard about giving this monthly report a unique name. One idea was the Monthly Growth Digest, then I stepped back and thought, let’s not get too fancy and keep it simple stupid! So the Monthly Growth Report it is.

What I’ll be sharing with you every month specifically are:

  • Traffic stats and analytics for my sites with full screenshots.
  • Email subscriber growth.
  • Social media stats such as Facebook Likes, Google+, etc.
  • Lessons I learned for the month.

I personally decided to start these reports to keep myself accountable with my business and track my progress. I also like to share my results from what I teach so that you can also implement it in your business.

My aim is to keep the format of these reports consistent so it’s easy for you to understand and predictable. As this is the first report, please forgive me if it looks all over the place.

You should expect these monthly reports on the first week of every month.

First and foremost, I’ll be starting every report with…

What’s Been Happening?

If you’ve been following my on my Facebook Page, you’ll know that I went on a trip around the US and Mexico. I was in LA, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Napa Valley, New York, Atlanta then to Cancun, Mexico.

All I can say is how awesome it was! It was an unforgettable experience my fiance and I will treasure. It was great to finally meet Americans, though it was a pity that I didn’t get much time to organize some sort of “Internet marketers Meetup”. 60-70% of my customers are from the states!

Let me leave it to these photos I hand-picked for your viewing:

The one and only Venice Beach, California to visit Muscle Beach just because I’m a gym junkie!

Although I didn’t get as much work done during the trip (feeling guilty), I have had time out to simply recharge and re-energize. It’s given me time to re-evaluate my business and personal goals.

Now on to the traffic report…

Traffic Report

The first site I will be keeping tabs of is this site you’re on now (unstoppableprofits.com) since it’ll be the main site I’ll be driving traffic to from various promotional methods.

I am considering also adding a couple of other sites but I’ll start with just one first to keep it simple.

Traffic Stats For UnstoppableProfits.com

Alexa.com Ranking: 205,566
Unique Visitors:
884
Pageviews: 2,095
Avg. Time On Site: 02:10

Here’s a screenshot from Google Analytics (click to enlarge):

Traffic June

As I mentioned, I didn’t get much work done during the trip which shows in the poor results you see above.

To see a bigger picture and a contrast between a month where I did post on the blog and promote, I’ve taken a screenshot from May 1st – June 30th:

Analytics June 2014You can see from the start to mid May there’s been a lot of activity. Each spike you see represents a new blog post I published and promoted.

Overall, these numbers are very low compared to previous months but I hope it gives you a good idea as to where this site is at.

Traffic Sources

Another stat I will be measuring is where the traffic is coming from as it will give a good indicator as to whether my promotional efforts are working.

Here are the top 10 traffic sources:

Traffic Sources June 2014

Google has been the top traffic source for the month of June. It’s actually good to see because during the month of May I’ve not only posted more blog posts but those posts were thoroughly researched based on popularity of subject and keywords. Now they are paying off with some Google love.

Facebook is not surprising to see on top as I do advertise using Facebook Ads, though it was on a short pause during my trip.

And what about Dropbox at #5? To explain it, it’s a report called Just The Meat I’ve been giving away to members of the Warrior Forum. Inside the report I link to unstoppableprofits.com.

Top Pages Visited

These have been the most visited pages for June:

Pages June 2014My latest blog posted entitled Here’s Why You Should Invest $1 A Day On Facebook Ads gets the top spot with 420 views.

Content Published

In the month of June I had only published one blog post:

May saw two new blog post:

Post #1:  These 10 Stories Will Remind You To Never Give Up On Your Dreams

Post #2: 40 Powerful Fill-In-The-Blank Blog Post Headline Templates

Subscribers & Followers

Each month I’ll also be reporting the growth of my email list and social profiles. Bare in mind this is total number of subscribers including sub-lists, customer lists, etc.

Since I have nothing to compare to for this month, I’m simply going to share the current numbers for each:

Email subscribers: 31,064
Facebook Page: 2,396
Google+: 722
Twitter: 1,749

Goals For July (This Month)

  • Reach 3,500 unique visitors.
  • Publish at least 3 new blog posts.
  • Record a video tutorial.
  • Write 3 new autoresponder sequence messages.
  • Validate an offer using Facebook Ads (more about this next month). Some interesting results so far.

Key Takeaways And Lessons

I’m grateful I was able to go on a six week long trip despite putting my projects on hold. It really is priceless and I cherish everyday I’m able to live.

Some times you just need to take a break and think about your priorities to be able to see the big picture.

Sitting in front of your desk and putting out fires everyday can sometimes put blinders and make you forget about what’s really important in life.

Besides, you started your business not to create another job for yourself, but to give you the freedom to do what you love doing.

This month I’m aiming to deliver a lot of valuable training, and it’s always been my belief to deliver great stuff.

Wrapping It Up

I hope you enjoyed my first ever Monthly Growth Report as much as I did putting it together. I do also hope it has inspired you to either start or continue with your online business. I know that it can be hard at times so hang in there. It’s only a matter of time.

All in all, everything is a work in progress so I’m more than happy and excited to share my progress with you on this blog and social profiles. Be sure to connect with me on Facebook as I post updates there quite regularly. Let me know what’s happening with your business.

Anyway, let me know what you think about this first report? Any suggestions to improve it?
